Here's a weird thought, I bet there is a better than 50/50 chance, that camera "might" be called the 1R. Why do I say that? The flagship has always been a 1 - will that stay or go away? I bet it was a BIG heated inside meeting on that one - pun intended 😇

Hey Magnus. Good to stumble across your live stream. I agree, the R1 and R5 II will surely shoot 8K or 9K with high-quality oversampled 4K. What's your guess about when 8K becomes mainstream? Cable providers mainly top off at HD and streaming content at 4K. Even 4K TVs and monitors are just becoming commonplace. Thanks.

9K oversampling sounds about right. It will probably have two CF-e card slots too, and a global shutter. Well, it better.
