Yes unknown dogs like me and owners get pleasantly surprised and tell me that their dog normally isn’t so friendly to strangers and doesn’t normally show so much affection. I feel blessed ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

.I have a 14-month-old purebred Australian Shepherd. My family and I have been raising the dog since she was 8 months old. She doesn't seem to mind when I pet her on the head, and she is generally okay with being touched everywhere except for her paws and tail.

If you can’t tell your dog doesn’t enjoy how your petting him or her then you shouldn’t own or be around a pup? Wake up

I definately was uncomfortable when my niece's dogs head was higher than mine when i was sitting on the couch. It was also a huge head, bigger than mine. The dog; a 100 kilo English mastiff was the biggest i ever interacted with. He was sweet, but he used his weight.

I rescued a male spaniel mix over 4 and a half years ago and he loves to get petted all over and he loves to get his belly rubs every day and also he likes to get petted on his head and all over his body and he has never had a problem with the way I pet him ❤️😎👍

My Lucy girl love's to be pet! But never with both hands. She is a rescue, she was around a year old when I got her. Don't know anything about her past. She's a Labrador, and very energetic. Being pet calms her. Oh she has been with me for 2 and a half years now. Lucy has come along ways. Before she was aggressive towards all new people she met. Now since being exposed to different situations and people, she's friendlier. Men she's more on guard with but is not acting aggressive anymore. Once she gets to know them it's all good. One fellow I think she fell in love with lol. I really enjoy your videos and wanted to let you know how my Lucy girl is if it could help someone. And if it might matter, she's a chocolate Labrador and spayed. Thanks again for your videos!

My dog never minds me petting his head. Of course, it's more like a brief and light head scratch. Loves belly rubs, and back and chest pets. Gets fidgety with his legs and paws though, and isn't receptive to being pet or scratched under his chin.

Our Pattie/bull dog mix loves having her head petted and scratched. She will even come up and paw my hand and bend her head toward me to encourage a head rub. She is actually a petting/scratching junkie.🤪 She also loves to roll over on her back so we can rub her chest and belly. We love to do this for her.

Great information!!for my dog she loves to have her belly rubbed, I really don’t rub her head too much, but she seems to be enjoying all the touches!
We have an Australian Shepherd mixed with border collie. She uses her eyes a lot always looks around! She is now 12 years old, not as active, slowly down a wee bit!! lol I am 70, I am doing the same!!😊. I would love to have and train my own Belgian Malinois Breed. Keep me fit too!

Well I have four dogs and I would say only two really likes their head rubbed the other two don't and all four of them love their ears to be rubbed. All four are different breeds too. 😊

One of my dogs adored being pet on the head, he finds it soothing… the only things he likes more is being smothered in kisses and cuddled… he’s a love bug & loves affection.

My other dog likes being pet on the head, but he’s a king of the zoomies, so he gets bored of it quickly. He also hates having his paws touched.

And my other dog loves to cuddle into you, and loves attention, but hates being held. You really have to allow him to dictate the affection, otherwise he gets aggressive and very upset… he’s a chihuahua so he gets freaked out by feeling not in control… I also call him my little sour patch kid, because he’s loving and cuddling you one second, then kicking you and growling the next.

My dog kiki she's a patterdale The best place to pet her is her belly she would let me pet her all day there but I think a few seconds is enough behind her ears she snugs under my chin for a cuddle presses her head on my chest. She will let anyone pet her. She's very friendly. She's a wild girl when out walking well she runs everywhere none stop don't know how she does it. She's 8 months now. Very clever

Who made this video? By what this video is saying you can't pet or touch your dog anywhere. I could touch my dog anywhere feet, tail, head, back, and they never bit me. Now of course you don't let a stranger do this, because that is a cause for a bite, but if your dog bites you because of this then you have not spent any time with your dog, or you tease your dog, or it has grown to not like you for whatever reason only you know.

I don't know about what this video is saying. I have never, ever had a dog that didn't like his head scratched. Now a cat might be different, hahaha! Never a dog.
