To all the people hating on a religion they know nothing about I hope you can take the time to learn what this religion truly preaches and not what you’ve heard about it.. Islam is a religion that prohibits the consumption of alcohol/ pork. So Islam has very much provided a foundation for a better lifestyle.. which she has adopted. It takes serious guts to leave behind a life like this.. and she’s at peace because of it. What an inspiring story! (No disrespect to anyone with my comment)

There are multiple stories of people who have called on their god and their life has changed for the better. Muslims say this, Mormons say this, Scientologists say this, Buddhists say this, your experience is not unique to the god you believe in. The one thing each of these stories of life-changing experiences have in common is not the same god, but it's that they've all had COMMUNITY SUPPORT. It's not surprising that when a collective gets together to assist other's in that collective, humans tend to thrive better. So perhaps it wasn't your god who changed you, but your belief in a god which other humans who helped you shared in that belief.

It's funny how we also have testimonies of other people from other religions like Christianity telling how they changed once they became a Christian, a Buddhist or something. This only shows that the change comes from us.

She is absolutely beautiful Everyone needs to get their panties out of a bunch! Just because she found her way through religion doesn’t mean it’s the right or wrong way just her way! There is nothing wrong with that. So British culture and Christianity just mean getting drunk and this is the best alternative. It's not exactly challenging journalism, more like a free advert for the Muslim Brotherhood. This is more than a little offensive to the majority of BBC license payers.
