0:34 Yes it was, but by MAN. There was another one made by Daimler-Benz called the VK 30.02 (D) that looks like if a Panther turret was placed onto a T-34 hull but the Christie suspension was replaced with Torsion Bar & inter-locking road wheels.

6:32 the difference there is due to your panther D being expert crewed, which increases your turret rotation by a little.

Fun fact:
Although the VK 30.02 (M) is the official prototype of the Panther, it is not the original.

The original, called VK 30.02 (DB) by Daimler-Benz was developed directly from the T-34 and in its original design it was supposed to look much more like it but the idea was discarded in favor of the Henschel design that won the competition in 1942 for series production.

Fun fact the vk3002(m) in full is
Van krup 3002 MAN
It was the winner of the no-no german medium tank competition in late 1941 to 1942 it was chosen because it was the most well armoured of the bunch.

Panthers are such fun tanks to play. Except for D model traverse speed, paper thin side armor and abominable reverse speed...
