The Mark Five: 35 represents the next step in Mark Series Tone as well as the addition of mini-Mark TONE in a 1x12 Boogie combo format! Mesa’s time-proven four EL-84 based Dyna-Watt power section delivers 100% gig-able Clean headroom and additional punch in High Gain sounds while adding width and bigger-iron mojo to the 10 & 25 watt settings.

The same great modes, features, layout and Tones that make the Mark Five: 25™ one of Mesa’s most popular amps just got a power upgrade and some new features. To further bolster the new MARK FIVE: 35's stage-ready resume, we’ve added a Channel Independent SOLO Feature, a long-spring tank for the all-tube Reverb, the complete set of Voicing Choices from our CABCLONE™ with the addition of the VINTAGE setting to its on-board DI Output and an upgraded Footswitch for access to the new footswitchable choices. This new blend of perfect clip-ablity on-demand & exciting dynamic headroom when you need it creates the most adaptable MARK amplifier yet!

Just recorded my album with a Mark V25 (one of the best amps ive ever had the pleasure of playing) and this will be perfect for bringing that music live. Without a doubt getting one :D

This amp totally rules. I have the head version. I'm cutting my record on this amp, solely. It does everything -really well. I'm actually re-cutting some songs because of this amp! I'm going to buy another 5/35 head to achieve what I have in mind. It will be a sonic marvel.

Just traded in a Mark V Combo for a Mark V - 35. I love having the same great tone and punch. It is more practical for me, I never needed 90 watts and the weight was 80 LBs. The 35 model is 40 LBs, small and has more then I'll ever need. I'm totally satisfied with it. If you are looking For the largest selection of Boogies and PRS instruments. Call or see Jack Gretz at Northeast Music in Dickson City PA. - Largest choices and honest! Tell him Rob sent you!!

I think I'm sold on this one. Should be ordering it soon! Might have to order one of the Mesa pedals as well to get a little more gigging versatility since it's only 2 channels. It sounds amazing though and I can't wait to hit the studio with it.

I think this is going to be a great new amp from everything I've seen. There are some really nice upgrades from the V:25, but not enough that I'd want to replace mine (which I LOVE) any time soon.

On the other hand, I know people that wanted the V:25, but really needed a combo, and this is going to be great for them.

I can't wait to see some of these innovations move over to the full sized Mark V. Even as a rev 2, some of these changes, particularly the midboost and GREAT crunch and iic+ tones, are making me wanting this in a three channel configuration.

Great review! I currently have a Marshall DSL 40 and am looking to add the Mesa Boogie Mark V 35. I was initially looking at the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 25 combo, but after watching and listening to some YouTube reviews, the Mark V 35 is the way to go for like heavier music. Thanks again for this review!

Have the combo. I actually purchased this amp because of the versatility but am more in love with the cleans. Very underrated clean amp IMO

This is the amp I've been looking for! 🎸💪🎸

If Mesa had installed midi on this amp it would have been THE Ultimate amp. All those voicing options and can't access them all on the floor. I'd happily pay the extra for that.

I'm sold, been holding back during guitar month at Sweetwater... 35 head is what I'm going to buy!
Glad we could see the internals, that alone did it for me. Amps with more tech can be a mess to repair should it fail, but this still looks easy diagnose any issues as well as 3 electrolytic caps in the bulk of the circuit.

Mark V 25 head with mesa 1x12 cab- $1849
Mark V 35 1x12 combo- 1799
It's obvious what I'm getting. Can't wait until I save enough money for one.

I like this more than the M5-25. I might get this combo M5-35 instead.

Being as these amps run a little bass heavy and scooped, I bet this would sound powerful af through my Orange PPC which has a tight low end and is very midrange focused. I feel like the pair would complement each other perfectly as the Orange cab can be almost too mid focused and too tight with the low end sometimes.
