A particular type of girl has been popping up ALL over my Pinterest at the moment - the effortless French girl!
This video explores the elements that make up this aesthetic including color palette, staple wardrobe pieces, French brands to shop at, and a major element of the whole look... effortless French girl hair lol
Some elements were a little out of my normal style ie the jeans and the leather jacket but it's always fun to try something new!

I’ve been learning French since the pandemic started and as part of that, I’ve been reading French fashion magazines and it’s so interesting how different the approach is. Also Isabel Marant is another good French brand in that “affordable luxury” market. Zadig et Voltaire is nice for some edgier touches and the Kooples is quite cool too but I had some quality issues with some items but other items have been absolutely fine.

Also it's fascinating to me how an age old style like the 'French girl' still evolves with additions like the retro high-waisted jeans and leather jacket which have clearly come from a more contemporarily popular vintage style.

I love this video! Berets are quite common in Paris during the winter, I don't think they wear them during spring or summer but who cares? They are amazing. 😍

I love that dress so much on! Suits you so well 😍It is so unfamiliar seeing you in a straight high rise jeans and the blouse but you rock the look :)
The idea of the second outfit is great but you need to be careful with too heavy oversized pieces not overhelming you.
