Phantom Thread the most uniquely romantic film ever. What film do YOU find romantic?

At first I felt I didn’t like the film because I didn’t like how it made me feel. But it was the subtle power of the film. It makes me nauseous. I love it.

This film portrays the complexity of human relationships in a way I have never seen before or since

These video essays are unrivaled, I wish the channel had more attention to it.

This scene hypnotized me when I first watched the movie and it's so cool to see someone talk about it. Love all of your content my man.

Jonny Greenwood's score is magnificent.

I love this movie so much because not only does Alma love and understand Reynolds, probably more than any woman he'd ever had, but she understands the value she brings to his life and does not, at any point, fail to demand to be treated with the same respect and loyalty.

I'm obsessed with this film ever since I first saw it in cinema; at first it angered me, baffled me, then intrigued me, and redefined how I think love should be to how it could be right in different ways.
The breakdown of that pivotal scene was so beautiful, you captured the film essence and I truly think your one of the best channel out there!

I think there is one detail that you didn’t mention: before Reynolds finds Alma and grabs her by the wrist to leave there had also been a bit of a stir in the crowd and Alma had left it. She didn’t seem to feel completely happy in the crowd, somehow a little displaced even though she had wanted to be there. Also her dress doesn’t seem to fit the occasion. Maybe she also must realize she doesn’t belong in that world anymore either.

Thank you so much - I had not heard of this movie, but now it's on the "see it NOW" list.

Your video essays are simply beautiful.

I love this film so much, i find it almost addictive. The way those characters feel about each others reflects in the relationship between the movie and the spectators.

Hey. I just want to say thank you for this great channel. You did an amazing work here.
Most channel will just review on over-hyped not-so-good film. But you, you know your stuff.
I'm glad i found this channel. 💕

I’m a Red Letter Media super fan. I love what they do. Then YT recommended your content. There’s an addicting simplicity to what you do, vs channels equally valuable like RLM. Please keep being you. You’re exactly in the niche you should be in with these reviews. I can only wish you will release videos more often
