Sam Shamoun goes over Christian asking where did the thief on the cross go if he died before Jesus passed away and open the gates to have him inside in Luke because in Luke 23:42-43 Jesus says Today you will be with me in paradise according to the Old Testament, all the prophets and everyone righteous was waiting in a place called Sheol where it was a small paradise where the believers went before being redeemed to the heavenly realm where God dwells . According to scripture there is always exceptions and because he was with Jesus and next to him and accepted him he was granted to the heavenly place where God resides

(Bible Verses Old Testament and New Testament) :
2 Corinthians 12 verses 2 to 4

Its not that we believe people shouldnt be baptized or that it is important- it is VERY important.

Its just that we believe that we are saved by grace outside of works. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.

And the thief on the cross embodies this, and his example of the first confirmed saint after the crucifixion is given to us for a reason.

Dont put your faith in the sacraments or your works of righteousness. Put your faith in Jesus Christ and the work He did on the cross!

With Jesus' presence in the Sheol (Abraham"s bossom), that itself made the place paradise.

Saying the Lord Jesus is limited by anything makes no sense.. if Jesus wanted the repentant thief in heaven the second his soul left his body it would be so...
With The Lord our God nothing is impossible.
All praise to his Holy name.
Blessed be the Father
Blessed be the Son
Blessed be the Holy Spirit
Amen

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

That is the correct interpretation . Paradise of hades was emptied to become Paradise of heaven. He that believes and is baptised will be saved. Baptism always followed immediately after believing and calling on Jesus. Acts 10: 48 . Saint Peter commanded the Spirit filled believers to be baptised in water (;buried into Christ Jesus)

Jesus told the thief, "Today you will be with me in Paradise." However, Jesus did not go to Heaven upon his death. Upon his resurrection he meets Mary and she goes to hug him. He tells her not to touch him because he has not yet returned to the Father. He ascends to Heaven 40 days later.

Elysium Fields. Adam, King Solomon were all in Sheol until Jesus flesh died. He descended into Hades accompanied by Arch Angel Michael and Elijah smashing Hades brass gates and Satan fled whilst Hades was rebuking him for dispatching the Messiah. Jesus preached the way and sent some deeper into Sheol and released many.
Blessed is the Lord our God King of the universe ✨️

An _"Exception"_ I.e. Miracle ...
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Much respect to Sam for knowing this. I started mapping out the layout of heaven and hell years ago and has changed my perspective in many ways. This is what Enoch says about Sheol for those who don’t know.

“1 And then I went to another place—the mountain of hard rock. 2 And there were four hollow places in it, deep, and wide, and very smooth. O how smooth the hollow places are, and deep and dark to look at! 3 Then Raphael answered, one of the holy messengers who was with me, and said to me, “These hollow places have been created for this very purpose, that the spirits of the souls of the dead should assemble therein, yes, that all the souls of the children of men should assemble here. 4 And these places have been made to receive them until the day of their judgment and until their appointed period, until the Great Judgment [comes] on them.” 5 I saw [the spirit of] a dead man making suit,  and his voice went out to Heaven and made suit. 6 And I asked Raphael, the messenger who was with me, and I said to him, “This spirit which makes suit, whose is it, whose voice goes out and makes suit to Heaven?” 7 And he answered me, saying, “This is the spirit which went out from Abel, whom his brother Cain slew, and he makes[…]”

“separated from the other?” 9 And he answered me and said to me, “These three have been made that the spirits of the dead might be separated. And such a division has been made [for] the spirits of the righteous, in which there is the bright spring of water. 10 And such has been made for sinners when they die and are buried in the earth and judgment has not been executed on them in their lifetime. 11 Here their spirits will be set apart in this great pain until the Great Day of Judgment; and [there will be] punishment and torment of those who are cursed forever, and retribution for their spirits. 12 There He will bind them forever. And such a division has been made for the spirits of those who make their suit, who make disclosures concerning their destruction, when they were slain in the days of the sinners. 13 Such has been made for the spirits of men who were not righteous but sinners, who were complete in transgression, and they will be companions of the transgressors, but their spirits will not be slain in the Day of Judgment nor will they be raised from there[…]”

I find it annoying when Protestants use the example of the thief to justify not to do baptism. It's almost as if the thief was crucified along with Jesus...

No. He was with Christ in Hades. He rose victorious from among the dead, defeating Satan's power over death. He was the first born from 'among' the dead. Sin, Satan and death all overcome to the glory of God the Father. That is why God has 'highly exalted Him' and given Him a name which is above all names and He is now sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The beautiful dream of paradise, that God gave me, , , , surely is in heaven, for the bird's and flowers did sing praises to Him in perfect harmony, and I was not in a deep sleep but as just waking up without eyes open and I began to sing with their beautiful harmony and tried to stay at this point but the sun shining through the window caused me to get the thief was on his cross on the right side of Jesus Christ, showing he gained favor, , and the unrepentive and non believing thief was on the left side of I thank God that he did not give me a dream about where he went.
The movie of the passion of Christ is wrong, , it showed the good believing thief was on the left side, , just one of the errors in the I cried because of what my Savior was going through, and hated my part in it because of my sins.

When you die, you don't think no more, or breath no more. The paradise he was going, was Rest In Peace paradise. Yeshua was raised up on the end of the third day. That dude is still in the R.I.P. paradise. While Yeshua is in the heavenly paradise.

Interesting, because I only heard about this guy being called Saint Dismas recently. Also - yeah - but if he goes to Sheol it would only be for a moment since in the apocryphal account Jesus retrieves everyone from Sheol after that. Also, looking into it: “Paradise” used in the book of Luke is the Persian word, “Paradeisos” rarely used in Greek. It appears only three times in the New Testament. Once by Paul, and another in Revelation to describe heavenly paradise." Paraphrasing, but it seems it means Heaven.

The latest craze is to claim that the “good thief” was saved by “faith alone” NO WAY! As the thief died on the cross, he 1) proclaimed his fear of God. 2) He admonished the other thief. 3) He confessed his own guilt. 4) He admitted that his earthly punishment was just. 5) He recognized Jesus as a King. 6) He publicly proclaimed Christ as a King. 7) He begged for and received Jesus' mercy.
Yet, HE DID NOT GO DIRECTLY TO HEAVEN! Heaven was closed until Christ ascended. The two of them went to Sheol - the abode of the righteous dead - Abraham’s bosom from the parable (Luke 16:19-31).
The thief was a DOER of the word and not just a hearer. MUCH MORE than the silence of “faith alone.”

Jesus said ‘you will be with ME in Paradise’. 1) Jesus didn’t go to paradise he went to heaven. 2) It is the only time Jesus used the word Paradise in all four Gospels. Everywhere else Jesus says Heaven (or Heavens, literal Greek translation). 🤔🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧♥️PS: two gospels have both criminals mocking Jesus, only one has the story of one repenting. My own interpretation is that this story has been added by someone using artistic license as not both accounts can be true and the majority account has mocking not repenting. 🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Paradise is Abraham's bosom. Luke 16 says it's a place of comfort, a place of the faithful. It wasn't in sheol, hell or Hades or purgatory, but the third heaven. 1 Corinthians 12:1-4. Revelations 2:7. Matthew 8:11-12.
