Thanks so much for mentioning how important it is to wear lip product colours, and blush shades that only compliment either the warmth, or coolness of your skin tone, and complexion. So many women, both on You Tube, and in life, wear cosmetic colours, and shades that conflict with, rather than compliment their true colouring. We all should not be indiscriminently wearing all shades, and colours, according to the latest trends, or just, because we like them if we want our wardrobes, and make up to help us look our best. The wisest thing I ever did when I was in my early twenties, was to have my Colours professionally analyzed. It has really allowed me to know what particular colour palette, and shades of clothing, make up, accessories, and jewellery I should purchase in order to always compliment my very pale, cool-toned, 'Winter' complexion. I, too, have always matched the shade of my blush with my lipstick (red with red, pink with pink, fuchsia with fuchsia, etc.). I have never heard the recommendation to avoid bright blush, and just use bronzer. I currently love to wear bright, cool-toned violet, or purple lipstick shades, and when I wear them, I have found that a light dusting of Make Up Geek blush in the colour 'Secret Admirer' (a light, matte orchid) does not overwhelm the colour of my lips. My biggest challenge remains finding a flattering 'nude' palette that doesn't 'wash me out', however. I have really been enjoying all of your videos; thanks for sharing such helpful knowledge, Sinead, Sherrey in Southern Ontario❤
