Celebration of inclusion: Montreal’s 2024 Pride Parade

“It’s a lot more than a parade," said Martine Roy, the Chair of the LGBT Purge Fund on Montreal's Pride Parade that filled the city's downtown with thousands of people. The annual event is a celebration of inclusion. Pamela Pagano reports.

Praise to the organizers of the capital Pride parade for taking a stance against the Israeli genocide of Palestinians. SHAME on CHEO for cowering away and backing out because of a few offended board members. Even more praise to the organizers of the Pride parade for not backing down and standing by their comments. If it weren't for such an important cause, it would be almost nauseating how often CHEO has their hands out looking for donations and yet they are publicly alienating a huge portion of the community just to remain politically correct. A little reminder to CHEO and other members of the mainstream media herd that Palestine aside, it was Israel that refused to even condemn the terrorist attack on the Pride parade in Jerusalem a few back. They didn't imply "support" toward the attack but they sure as S did NOT condemn it. Turn your TVs off and go do some independent research and thinking of your own before you jump on "PC" bandwagons like that. Population aside folks, Israel is arguably the most powerful country in the world. They are easily top 3 for military and nuclear capabilities and you people actually believe and/or are offended for calling the events in Palestine a Genocide? It's laughable
