REVIEW - BJ Steel GT Sim Racing Pedals - Load Cell Brake

A month ago we reviewed BJ Sim Racing's Steel Series Pedal set including their Hydraulic brake. We were very impressed overall with the quality of these pedals ad a lot if you asked us to check our their load cell brake as well to see how it stacks up, so here you go!

Thanks for this. I ordered a set of the LC version from Pagnian a few days ago, after the review of the hydruaic version. Reviews on these, in English, are scarce, so my purchase was a bit of a gamble, but feel more at ease with my purchase now. I also ordered the BJ V8 Supercar style SQ shifter, so a pretty solid upgrade for my rig. Keep up the God work guys.

Blows me a away the difference in price from one set to another that are very close in design. These at the bottom of the food chain are on my short list. waiting to see how you like them over time, Please shoot us an up date after a few months if good may stretch my budget from the V3's. Just thought id add my two cents to anyone looking at these pedals, i got a set of the LC pedals last year, they have been used alot but between then and now ive had the green brake spring crack in half, the throttle spring snapped, and last night it managed to shear the bolts that hold the load cell to the pedal clean in half leaving snapped threads in the LC high tensile "8.8" bolts my ass lol. the bolts that hold the front pivot point on the throttle will bind the throttle if too tight and otherwise just back out constantly so had to slather everything in locktite, the plates will ruin your shoes unless you spend a decent amount of time filing them down but i knew that beforehand, They feel great when they work but i do feel like the bits they cheaped out on keep casing issues on mine

Finally getting the chance to fit my BJ Steel GT LC. Clutch pedal removed, brake pedal relocated to clutch position, and Leo Bodner control box relocated and mounted on BJ base plate, between throttle and brake. They still look impressive in F1 configuration.

Now to remove the CSL Elite pedals and get these mounted on the Sim cockpit. Then to review original video and set up software....then lots of testing and some adjusting.

Just ordered them after I learned that the pedal faces are now smooth and are hight adjustable. For the brake the hardness can now be changed by lowering or hightening the brakerod. Can't wait to have these and replace my fanatec elites.

I got a set, had to add a little bit of lube to some nuts, other than that they are really really good, I did find the edges a bit sharp but nothing to bad.

Thanks for the video. I might buy these.... seems pretty darn good for the price. I guess it's not too hard to file and sand down the hard edges on the footplates, though it would be nice if they came a bit smoother out of the box. btw isn't it possible to replace the green spring with something a bit softer so that you would get a better and earlier threshhold?
