SWEET POTATO DOG SNACKS

INGREDIENTS:
1 Medium Baked Sweet Potato
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Chia Seed

METHOD:
-Preheat oven to 350º
-Remove skin from sweet potato, place in mixing bowl
-Add egg and cinnamon to mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer until smooth
-Fold in chia seeds
-Put mixture in zip-lock back and snip a small opening in one bottom corner (or you can use a piping bag)
-Make small circles and fill in the middle
-Place in oven on bottom rack for 15 minutes then on the top rack for 20 minutes
-Once done remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes and place cookies on paper towel or into storage container, store in a cool dry place.

There are no preservatives or additives they will keep well for 2-3 days (If your dog is anything like Mikey they won't last that long)

Can you make this recipe without the chia seeds? My dog sometimes has a sensitive stomach so I’m careful about introducing new food choices. Right now the only snack/treat he gets are carrots!

I wonder if my baby would like this. He has so many allergies. My mom got him from someone and the lady before my mom didn't do to hot with him but my mom trained him good; but after the COVID my mom went to stay with my brother and his dog tried to eat my baby, so now he's with me and i want to get rid of his allergies i got rid of his flakey skin. ( i bathe him often with the vet rec shampoo, he has a itch stick), i feel like its his food but idk what so i wanna transition to more organic food so then if his allergy is with chicken or something id be able to pinpoint. I want him to have better more options of healthy dog food and snacks.
