Nimble Positive Business Impact Award Finalist 2022: Solace
Показать описание
Solace – or, to give it its full title, Solace surviving exile and persecution – is a small Leeds-based charity that has committed the past fifteen years to supporting the wellbeing and mental health of refugees and asylum seekers. So, when a Home Office funding opportunity came up that could enable them to share that expertise more widely through the platform of an elearning course, the charity jumped at the chance. Nimble Author enabled them to get the course up and running quickly, with support from their dedicated Customer Success Manager.
Exceeding all expectations, Solace's courses have now reached over 1700 people who work in a wide range of services that are accessed by asylum seekers. Participants say that the elearning courses opened their eyes to the small changes they could make that might have a big impact on the wellbeing of those seeking asylum in the UK. Solace has now been approached by several large organisations wishing to provide the training to their staff.
Find out why our Nimble judges selected Solace as a finalist for this award, saying:
“A strong submission for a complex project that clearly demonstrates how elearning can have a positive impact across a wide network of learners. KPIs have been achieved, with concrete learnings to take forward.”
