UN General Assembly Adopts Landmark Resolution on Artificial Intelligence

This marks the first time the General Assembly has adopted a resolution specifically addressing the regulation of AI, signifying a significant milestone in international efforts to ensure the responsible and ethical use of emerging technologies. The adoption of the resolution has been hailed as a "historic step forward" for the safe utilisation of AI by the US National Security Advisor earlier this month.
