Powering the e2 is an 8-in-1 electric powertrain based on the e-Platform 3.0, with a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor that delivers up to 70 kW of maximum power. The car also comes with BYD’s Blade batteries with a capacity of 33.2 kWh and 43.2 kWh, providing a cruising range of 301 km and 401 km, respectively, according to the Chinese MIIT. However, additional detailed information about the powertrain is not yet available. The e2 has a size of 4260/1760/1530mm and a wheelbase of 2610mm, which is 20mm longer than the previous model. It also comes with a silver roof rack, and a small window between the C and D pillars, and runs on large multi-spoke wheels. The fast charging port is located at the right front fender.
