This video shows the Difference between Dead Load, Self Weight & Superimposed Dead Load.

Dead load can be defined as the load which is permanent load acting on the structure or building.
Self weight is the weight of the structure it self, it comprises most of the dead load.
Superimposed dead load is the imposed load on the structure. Load after the structure completion like the floor finishing, tiles loading, AC duct, cable wires, etc.
