I greatly miss the real home button, but having this virtual one is a bit of a help. I want to remove all icons surrounding the virtual button without removing the home button (remove them via the “customize top level menu), but when I try to remove all but the home button, it keeps removing the home button itself, which is the only one I want on there. Ah well! :)

In the assistive touch, on the 3D Touch action choose home.
Then you can 3D Touch it to come home.
It will be sort of like an iPhone 7 or 8’s virtual home button effect

It's not possible to tap the home button and go home, it always opens that select window and there you have to tap that home button :( How to tap the home button to go home directly? It's impossible fück apple.
