I am a dual American and Norwegian citizen living in Lviv, Ukraine, before and since the war, enduring power and water shortages and general uncertainty. I am keeping a video journal, recording my thoughts and feelings about the Russia-Ukraine war and how we go about our daily lives.

This is my video journal about my life in Ukraine during the war and the Russian invasion. I am American and Norwegian by citizenship, but I found my way to Ukraine and decided to stay despite the situation. In my videos, I talk about daily life and adapting to the new normal, as well as reacting to news and social media posts on Reddit and Facebook.

It seems like a classic war of attrition scenario…if Ukraine can hang on and inflict 10 or 20k more Russian casualties while keeping their losses low they will be in a good bargaining position
