I made these and found the batter very dense, so I added a little liquid, to improve the spread-ability. They looked too gooey after baking so I extended the baking time . My brownies turned out the same as yours. The next day, I brought them to a family brunch, because my my gluten free son needed another something he could eat. I trimmed the edges and cut into the brownies into bars and brought these to the brunch. Others in the family wanted to try them, and raved. The brownies were devoured and later we had calls asking for the recipe. The prices in the stores here are fairly good. I may have to read the back of the box more closely and give these a second try. Thanks for the demos. I also tried Krusteaz GF chocolate chip cookies, which crumbled a little when shaping on the baking sheet, but tasted FAB. I saw a demo where the GF cookies were shaped/flattened, and baked in cupcake liners arranged on baking sheets - nice and neat.
