FOR THE RECORD; Mel Waiters (June 25, 1956 – May 28, 2015) was an American Southern Soul singer born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.
Waiters captured the essence of grown folks music by mixing today's blues with the nostalgia of vintage soul. "Got my whiskey", released 2005 on Malaco Records is a groove that made him a headliner on the Southern soul circuit - still in demand, still a fan favorite !
