Hey E.T Fam! Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. I’m here with another market update for the fam! Today’s content will be peppered with a bit of a warning. Today we’ve been seeing a bit of a bounce in the crypto market. Now I know we’re all excited to see a rally, but please do not fall into the trick of FOMOing.

It is important to understand that throughout history, there have always been bounces during bear markets. These are to be taken with a grain of salt when the macro environment is showing a continuous downtrend. When you look at the broader markets, stocks are taking a beating and companies are continuing to decrease their workforces. This doesn’t lead to a bullish market.

At $67k all the influencers were sure that it would pump to $100k, so nobody sold. Now everyone is so sure that $15k or $13k or $10k will come, that they are missing the buying opportunity. The only way to beat the psychological temptations of fomo, FUD, panic, and fear, is DCA'ing. Nothing else is safe. Nothing.

You are absolutely right, this is only the beginning of the mega credit unwind, which began before the GFC. Equities still have lots of downside, and the bond market is still not done. The big crisis still looming on the horizon is the housing bubble, which will take years to unwind. Personal bankrupcies are still at 'normal' levels and unemployment is still at very low levels. You will know we are at the bottom when people line up to grab whatever job they can to pay their bills, and you see many houses on the market with signs that read: "price reduced...". As someone who traded throughout the GFC and survived going short, I completely concur with you that we are just at the very beginning of this bear market. The best thing we can all do right now is to use whatever available money we have and REDUCE DEBT. When you see these pumps, sit on your hands and use that money to pay off debt.
