To me, this is the most quintessential gunbarrel of them all. Lazenby may be my personal favourite simply for how unique and well-done it is, but this should be the prototype for future creators. The music, the barrel design, the walk, the gunshot timing to cue the music change, Brosnan's smooth and effortless walk, pivot and fire. A masterclass in how to do it right, in my opinion.

Ironically if you die in the Goldeneye 64 game the use of the ending part of the 007 theme song also plays.


I guess the creators took inspiration from the video game.

This, The World Is Not Enough, Live and Let Die and For Your Eyes Only has the most rhythmic gun barrel themes. With Arnold's scores you can really hear the influence of his electronic lounge music background.
