Agree; India is peace loving country. Yes tensions sore high esp when the match is b/w India and Pakistan. But I think it’s largely due to bad priorities. Govt and corporations see capital gains in sports, public sees entertainment and 1947 partition (totally forgetting divide-n-rule motive of colonial power).
There are other higher priority agendas like peace, economic growth, education outside of curriculum, climate change etc … that face neglect because of weak system - social and political. And Govt-Corporations-Public all have gaps to fill in and corrections to be made.
