Girls, never be reliant on a husband/boyfriend for money. If you want to be a stay at home wife and let your husband financially support you, or if in your situation you aren’t working, that is totally fine and your own choice. BUT you should always be capable of supporting yourself. You shouldn’t be fully dependent to the point where if he left you, you can’t support yourself and your family. <3

I can confirm this, it happened to my mom, she quit her work because my dad told her she didn't need to and that it was more important for her to rear the children and so she did that. She regrets it. Never rely on your husband entirely, work to build yourself because you never know when things might turn for the worst and by then you will have become too used to relying and him and kinda lost your ability to be independent.
