G'day David, thanks so much for the review,

The Kelly Gang cards were printed by NPCC on 310 gsm German Linen stock.

Just thought I should comment on how we detail the specifications of "Plastic Coated Paper" cards, we refer to majority of cards, e.g. Theory 11, Bicycle, Ellusionist, EPCC, Legends etc as "Plastic Coated Paper" since nearing the end of printing cards are coated with a special (Clear Polymer) coating to give the gloss finish we commonly see and feel, every manufacturer is different in some way I guess, but it's essentially a "plastic" coating vs those cards such as KEM that are a 100% Plastic cards, hope that helps.

Then again we Aussies do like to be different, ha ha; would love to hear peoples opinions on how they think these cards in general should be categorised. Noting different countries all tend to describe things in their own way.

NPCC is great for producers starting out since their Minimum Order prints start from 500 decks not 1, 000+ such as USPCC which can be a real budget killer for new producers, I was real happy with the finish we got on our budget, looking forward to working with them again and trying our other finishes they can do.

Noir Arts is NPCC, based in Ukraine, the same printer of the Ragnorok deck. Not the best printer for handling but artwork is ok. 😬

Last time I had a pack of cards labeled plastic coated, they were cheap Chinese playing cards spelled with a k for cards.They were a gift so i sed them shortly, they did have a unique and slippery feel that felt a little bit more water resistant. On the downfall the same cards were also quality checked to be poisonous to handle in the long run. So now any card that claims to be truly plastic coated I am more cautious towards. I trust Australia a million times more to making plastic coated cards that I would China.
