Building a Jeep Wrangler in 17 Minutes

I bought a Jeep Wrangler TJ that was in much worse shape than I thought. This Jeep TJ rust was so bad, the Jeep frame swap had to take place. And this Jeep TJ restoration takes place in only 17 minutes!

You made this look so easy. I’m sure parts were challenging but watching you was like watching a well oiled machine work. I love when older vehicles like this are restored.

Bravo pour ce travail de découpe, de reconstruction, de soudure de ponçage et de peinture, j’en oublie certainement. Bravo encore l’artiste.

As a new YouTube creator, one of the many things I’ve learned from you is that music and editing…while important…are not as important as telling a story. You do this exceptionally well. It’s a lot harder than it looks!

This is the first video I've watched of yours, so not sure if you've mentioned it. But I would seriously look into undercoating with a lanolin based product like Woolwax or fluid film to protect all the hard work you've done on the underside. Also I can really appreciate all that work you did on this thing Without a garage! Props man! Looks Fantastic!

Always liked these later model TJ Saharas, very cool, sharp interiors. I love my '05 TJ Rocky Mtn 4.0L, but the interior is dark and boring. Give me the character of a CJ any day, which makes for one of the best Jeeps ever produced, especially with that 4.0L!

Excellent work!! 👍

I thought the series was great, waiting for more caddy updates or crazy auctions. I always seem to enjoy what ever your doing 👍

Very nicely done. It would have been interesting if you included the "approximate" number of hours to do a project like this. Also would have been neat to hear the cost breakdown (approx), I know there had to been a ton of unknowns (hardware, parts, etc) that added up along the way.

I own a TJ and if I was going to rebuild one from the ground up like you did I would swap the axles and put some Dana 44 and install a lift kit to do some off-roading in but this jeep looks brand new straight off the line nice job
Edit how many TJ’s do you have I see two more in the video are they also going to be in future videos

This makes me feel lucky to have an old Series 3 Land Rover. That's a lot of work. Great job!

Great video! It looks like your family also helped. How long from purchase to final condition?

Well, that’s a $30K jeep wrangler that belongs in a Jeep dealer showroom 👏🏼👏🏼 bro, no lights on the dash? Says the driver not wearing a seat belt and dash light on 😂😂 (buckle up)

Love these episodes. The TJ looks awesome. I'm at the point of selling my TJ and buy another one or a totall frame off restauration because there are just too many 'little' things that start to annoy me. It probably sounds familiar, you know about te small rust spots, the seat that is stuck to a set position, the tick in the valve train when the engine is cold, the rust spots on the frame etc. Though the TJ always starts and drives, I could cope but since a few days the ignition switch started to give up on me and that was the final straw. To many 'points of attention' hahaha so I dicided to make a cost estimate and I think I will go for a body off restoration. Now I was wondering (since it's so hard to find an original ignition swith where I live) is there a way to turn of the code so I don't need the original keys? With the new ignition came new keys and it works fine, but when I start, it runs for 2 seconds and turns off unless I start it while holding the original key against the lock while starting with the new key. Is there a way to turn this code of in the Jeep itself?
