I actually met Maurizio when he was alone in the Mountains....it was in Madonna di Campiglio during winter vacation a couple of years ago. He was very kind and relaxed, took a picture situazione him and had a small conversation on the season just ended (was 2015). People living there told me he has an house there in which he use to go, and you can meet him in the town or up in the mountains all alone. So it’s definetely true what he says. Great man, really. A true one.

Man, this really was the golden age of post 2010s F1. Toto and Christian taking friendly shots at each other without being malicious, Ferrari having the coolest and greatest team principal since Jean Todt in the form or Maurizio Arrivabene and Claire keeping her dad's legacy alive no matter how dark the times. This is a real palate cleanser after the 2021 season. Makes you wish we could turn back time.

Arrivabene is great, much greater than I thought as he refuses to give interviews pre-race and is quite brief most of the time. But he's just a proper introvert, not rude, just introverted. Inside his mind are great things.
