chills down my spine & tears in my eyes . the emotions this brought up . all those years ago i listened to this song in high school after a long night of making music with my best friend that got me into progressive metal . headphones in & in the dark i listened & was submerged in a whole different world, just out of the blue, like a spiritual experience . afterwards for the first time, i was able to think of musical ideas with all the different instruments playing at once . i started tearing up . emotional, i went back into my homies room to see if he was still awake . he was & we ended up having a super deep conversation & that was the start of when we really became close . my friend passed away a few years ago & i know how much he would've loved to hear this . this song always carried extra value for me, but the impact this video just had on me is beyond words . from the bottom of my heart, thank you .
