Love these sorts of videos. Still rocking my Samsung NU7100 that I bought at the end of 2018, a good budget set. The closest equivalent today would be the CU8000 that you mentioned. Being in Canada, I was astonished at the price of that TCL 75" S4.

Samsung S89C, 77”, $1799, QD OLED. Only available at BB. I’m Seriously considering this one. Incredible deal. Same panel used by Sony on the A95 series but for $3200 less than they’re A95L!! Amazing. DV isn’t a huge deal to me as it sometimes gives me a bit of a darker PQ in many instances.

As a young man I would walk through Best Buy and dream about owning a Big Screen tv but just couldn’t afford it. Now as a Middle aged man of 55 I purchase New TV TECHNOLOGY every year and give older models away to family and it’s really cool! Looking forward to the Samsung QN900D and MICRO LED in the future! They have some decent TVs here and there in the store. They were the only one selling the original 65 825 mini led set when I bought mine in February 2020 just as Covid ramped up. At least I had a really nice TV to watch. Then I got my inheritance from mom's old house and upgraded to the Sony beastie a few years later so I have two nice TVs to watch but got the Sony from Robert at Value Electronics because normal stores don't sell the uber high end Sonys.

Just got an open box 55” a95l in excellent condition with all the accessories and box with super low hours (14 hours) for $1, 700 at my local Best Buy in Austin, TX. for the bedroom. I have a 75” Z9D in the living room. I feel complete now with one of the best LEDs from Sony and the best Sony OLED. I also bought the Z9D used from a rich guy in Beverly Hills, CA a couple of years ago before I moved to TX for $900!
Will wait a couple more years until Sony Mini LED gets less expensive for an 85” hopefully below $3, 000 for the living room.

Brian, for the 75"-85" range which would you recommend QN85C or QN90C? Majority of viewing is sports, twitch, youtube tv, netflix and amazon. Year long sunny environment, so direct sunlight daytime viewing & nighttime viewing are about same. Thanks.

I’m really debating on getting the s89c for my bedroom because of the price drop but my tv stand only holds a 65in. Do u think the s90c 65in has the 2nd gen panel like the s89c does?
