Here are day 3 through 5 of the BooktubeAThon Readathon 2018. The reading vlog didn't go as planned so I had to improvise a bit :/

I have 1 good and 2 bad news...
The good one: HD is coming!
Bad ones: I don't in fact look like Rosie after the mask. I also gave up on the readathon (I know.) due to complications with technology, the slump and simply not having enough time this weekend with filming for both channel, editing this vlog and life. Sorry.

The goal of read a thons for me are to have fun, but sometimes they happen on days and/or weeks that are complicated for us and that’s ok. Even if you read just one book and complete one challenge, if it was a positive experience I think it’s a success. Today is the last day and I’m finishing my forth book and forth challenge but I did many other things during the week and I still managed to read more than I usually do, so I’m happy with that. There will be more read a thons in the future that will come up at a better time!

I hate spoilers for other books in a Book!!
"Everything, Everything" by Nicola Yoon, did this for 3 classics! Like EXCUSE ME. Two were on my TBR as well, and actually affected my enjoyment of one of those books. So I docked a star because it annoyed me so much.

I have to say before I finish your vlog; people are rude. Your English is great! The book wasn’t your cup of tea. People need to get over it. You were clear about your rating and why: you rate based on your enjoyment. I respect your opinion, and you are one of my go to people for the actual truth about a book. I watch several other people I know mirror my test in books for the most part. People need to get over being so sensitive! I love your videos even if we don’t always agree on everything.

I remember reading The Secret Life of Bees in high school and really enjoying it! I also recommend the movie, I thought it was really good and a good movie adaptation of the book.

Didn't complain that you didn't like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but was very surprised. When I read The Humans, I found some of the humour very similar to HGttG.

So that's why I don't like Hitchhikers Guide, you summed it up perfectly. It's like taking Monty Python's style and making it a book! You are so right, the jokes are funnier when shared out of context. In my senior year of high school we had a phrase we'd use when we'd had a bad day: 'What's the f*cking meaning of life?!?' and someone would yell out '42!'

I was going to do it, but the ending of the convention weekend, my friend leaving, and finally having Are You Afraid of Dark television series from my childhood in my possession reading took a back seat. I am close to finishing Mistborn.
