I did this as a struggle meal all the time. Fried up the hotdogs and added hot sauce. Sometimes I'd use diced balogna, and I actually mashed vienna sausages with a fork once and fried those. They got super crispy, it was actually really good.

During the height of my college days I would go to the 99 cent store:
Buy some frozen chicken breast, a bag of broccoli, and a box of Kraft Mac and cheese for less than $5. Add in my cooked and seasoned chicken and microwaved broccoli and mixed it together in one pot and get at least 3-4 meals out of it.

Boil the hot dogs in the water with the noodles then remove them and cut them up, sooo good! It adds more flavor

Use the mac and cheese recipe that you used but instead if hot dogs used cubed spam... i know it sounds weird bu the creamy mac and cheese with the saltiness of the spam is phenomenal

Haha, we had that often. But it was before the microwave was out!
We would broil the dogs and it was great!
Looking back I now know it was because we were broke.

Im on board and make my Kraft the same except I add the cheese before the noodles so it mixes in better. Also prefer whole milk because I like mine with more liquid than paste consistency. Also I may toss a few noodles out so its chessier. 😂😂😂😂
