Damn I super wish different biomes still had unique mechanics like that. If certain areas had cool traits like faster crops it would make the different areas so much more interesting

Dang, map themes actually sound like a lot of fun and in my opinion it would be pretty cool if they ever ended up adding these back to go alongside the amplified world option

you’ve just unlocked a core memory i haven’t touched minecraft since about 2016/2017 and i started playing around 2010/2011.
I miss the fun and joy it brought me and my friends to play such a unique game

I believe the Paradise map led to the early-youtube Minecraft Survival Island challenge/trend, which eventually led to the concept behind Skyblock. I remember watching these trends form in real-time.
