That was the most complete game the Leafs have played in years, probably decades. If they play like this...during the playoffs, they will give themselves a chance to win. FINALLY. Now do it consistently. Stolarz looks legit...he doesn't give up weak goals right after the leafs score. Knies is impressive.

For me it was Berube's insistence back when he was hired that this team would have an identity to start the season, even if it takes a few games to get it rolling. This simple demand shows how different he is to our last coach. Sheldon Keefe is a great coach but he was always still looking for the team identity with only a handful of games left before the playoffs each year, and he never found it not even once. Berube isn't looking for an identity, he is imposing one on the team from the get-go. This is refreshing to say the least
