Interesting that everyone ignores Avebury Henge? Which is huge, 5x Stone Henge. There is also a pyramid and carving in a mountainside. I believe that there are also incidents of Crop Circles locally, and an institute that studies them.

Stonehenge really got me researching about African culture. A lot of African people doing things and no longer know why. First time I saw Stonehenge and all other stone circles on TV, it reminded me of my village palace. It has two spots, one at entrance, with large elongated stones placed in circles and the area surrounded by a kind of plant not seen anywhere here in the West (Most African areas call it Peace plant). Specific ritual is done to ancestors inside the area once a year and a red ash is placed on every villager's forehead that attended. Some palaces in West Africa has it. Stonehenge made me flash back to the tones and wondered where they came from and who carried them and why the circle/meaning.
