It's quite easy to demonstrate the uniqueness of pure actuality. If there were two instances of pure actuality, neither of them would be _pure_ actuality. They would be pure actuality PLUS some instantiating factor to differentiate them. Thus, there cannot be multiple instances of pure actuality.

Maybe St. Thomas Aquinas would remind Joe of what he, Thomas teaches about possibility and actuality. God is purely actual. So there can't be two purely actual gods. To tell them apart, we would them to differ from each other. So one would need to have something possibly or actually that the other wouldn't have. If God is purely actual, the other one can't be purely actual.

I don't even think you can say that simple being could in principle be anything other than trinitarian, I think it's metaphysically necessary and it follows from what simple being is.
