Hang on tight for the AOPA Sweepstakes Cessna 170B’s first flight with an impressive 2,000 fpm climb out thanks to the new Continental Prime IO-370 engine and Hartzell Trailblazer propeller!

AOPA Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs Chris Cooper details AOPA’s advocacy efforts regarding a new airworthiness directive that affects over 3,000 Cessna Centurions and Cardinals in the U.S. registry. The AD was prompted by the in-flight break-up of a Cessna T210M in Australia. The breakup was caused by fatigue cracking that started at a corrosion pit. Later the FAA received corrosion reports on other models of Centurions and Cardinals.

Ride along with AOPA Pilot Editor at Large Dave Hirschman as he flies a Beechcraft Bonanza to the Caribbean to visit Nevis, birthplace of Alexander Hamilton.
