Affordable Vegan Makeup

For people looking to cut all animal-derived items out of their life, vegan cosmetics are the way to go. ... Cruelty-free means that the product was developed without any tests on animals, while vegan means that the product does not include any animal-derived ingredients. This includes, but is not limited to, honey, beeswax, lanolin, collagen, albumen, carmine, cholesterol, gelatin, and many others.

I’ve scoured and researched the makeup available in the shops to put together this weeks film. I’m splitting the Vegan makeup films into two parts, Budget and Luxury. This weeks film concentrates on affordable vegan makeup. Many makeup brands support this but its not so easy to find when out shopping, which was frustrating for me as a consumer. I’ve tried to keep individual product spend to under £20 for this film.

I hope you like the look and the products used in this film. I’m looking forward to producing the luxury vegan makeup film next. Maybe we won’t see much difference, which opens the question on whether we can create the same look for less. There really are some great products out there in the shops, that don’t always break the bank. Looking forward to reading what you think in the comments below & I’ll be back next weekend.

Disclaimer:
The aim of Speed Beauty is to introduce you to and provide you with techniques for make up, skin & hair care products. I only show you products that I love and really believe in. Each product I use is heavily researched before deciding to make a film and I try and provide you with as much accurate information as possible. The views on this YouTube Channel are my own and are based on having personally tried the products myself.

The products I use in these films are either bought by myself, are part of my professional kit or they’ve been sent to me by PR companies for review. I am not currently paid for producing the films you watch. Some of the films contain affiliate links in the description, but not all. If you are happy to click on these links to continue support this channel that would be very lovely, thank you.

You should always research whether the products I recommend are suited to you. Everyones skin is different and I offer no warranties and don’t claim to be a dermatologist. Some products are really expensive and an investment purchase so it’s always wise to test product on your skin to check for allergies or adverse reactions before you buy. Some make up & skin care brands offer you samples to take away & try. This is always a good idea before deciding on an expensive purchase.

This is a really lovely look. So pretty and natural. Being vegan, I only purchase vegan & cruelty-free products. There is absolutely no need to have make-up products that test on animals or have animal products in them, as you’ve proven with this gorgeous look. I would love to see more videos like this! Cheers from Toronto.

I see so many people on YT using foundation to change the colour of their skin, it's good to find someone who uses a matching foundation. Great look, and great review. Thanks.

Such pretty make up. Really enjoy this kind of chatty video with lots of different brands- would like to see more. I had no clue that elf stood for eyes, lips and face, I think it's very clever. So enjoy your videos - I often watch them twice.💕💕

**Please make the eyelash curling mascara trick video (with waterproof mascara) that you mention at 17:00min! I have short to medium length eyelashes that are VERY straight and fall slightly downwards. Even though I have dark brown hair, and even if I wear mascara, my eyelashes look invisible when looking directly at my face, because they're so straight! I have to use an eyelash curler to really lift them and open up my eyes. But, the lifting effect of the eyelash curler is very short lasting –my eyelashes never stay up or curled for long. I've tried many different types of eyelash curlers, but they've all given the same result.

I was so excited when I read the title because I'm slowly transitioning all my current makeup products to vegan/cruelty free alternatives as they run out or need replacing. Being a Canadian viewer means that many of these products & brands I've never heard of and aren't sold in the shops here. I'm happy you talked about ELF concealers, I was wondering if they worked well. Your make up look was beautiful, and I'm looking forward to next week's vegan makeup part 2 video! Xx

Very nice. Who knew elf was vegan. Would be nice to have a list of all the major vegan brands if that’s possible somehow. Really missed your channel while you were gone in August, glad you are back.

Such a lovely pretty look I’d love to see more videos like this, trying different things. I didn’t know elf standed for eyes, lips and face either. You learn something every day.😄

Hi Caroline! So nice to see you again and so appreciated your content today. I love the soft focus look you achieved. Your tips and tricks help so much. Thank you for the affordable products, as well. There are some brands that we don’t have here in the US, but no matter as we have similar style brands. I love the way you do your lips. I had to laugh as I also get lip envy! 😂. The Bareminerals Gen Nude is so lovely and hydrating without being sticky. I have the shade “Everything” which I think you’d love! Have a wonderful weekend Caroline!

Beautiful colours. I wear a lot of burgundy/wine shades in my clothes - it’s probably my favourite colour and this look really compliments it. X

Ooh what a beautiful look Caroline 💕. I am hopeless with big mascara brushes too, I love Clinique’s Lash Power as it’s got a tiny brush with bristles (I really don’t get on with the plastic ones!) and it doesn’t shift all day. I saw a tip from another channel the other day that when you blob mascara on your eyelids wait for it to dry before you remove it as it doesn’t smudge then. Really works for me ha ha! I love Saturday mornings when we get a new film from you - happy week! Xx

I apologise if I have focuses on the cruelty free aspect but can't understand why any of us vegans can separate out out vegan and cruelty free. They are linked as far as I am concerned. Anyone else feel the same?
