I have an approved I-130 but a denied I-485. What does this mean for us?

Hi Joseph, Is there a required interview for the I-601? Thanks. I suggest for people doing the K1 and Adjustment for Status form to follow the directions and don't take short cuts. Nolo has a great book and the forms come with instructions. In addition there are many fourms out there than you can read to will give you help. If you have a specific legal question you can find web sites that offer very cheap legal consultations or answer your questions. As Joseph as mentions before be careful when dealing with or hiring experts or lawyers. Lots of time they talk big but don't know much. If you can try to get a 2nd or 3rd validation on your concerns. For example. If I had not found Josheph's Channel I possibly could have (like him) used the wrong form. Luckily, I have more time then him. It appears to me he was too busy and messed up. Spend the time and if won't than make sure you hire a good processor but realize if your case is not standard the experts either don't know or will take advantage of you.

There are appeals you could done but most people don't know anything about that. You had cause. You had a strong appeal, but I get your position. You had a real reason. You received a formal letter giving you the wrong address. If people want to spend the time and are planning to doing a K1 Visa, buy a Nolo Book and follow it. I did that and did it for 3 friends and never had a problem. As for the I-485 following the instructions. That is much easier than doing the K1.

Joseph, My wife took some vaccines previously that have submitted previously to the government.
Even though we are filing the religious exemption should we provide the USCIS MD (I-693) a record of the vaccine she has taken or should be leave it out? Thanks and God Bless

Thanks man very much....im so need this story of your case...i was despered ...oficer from embasy told me that i dont have any chance so i delay my interview and medical exam to find out how to manage exemption...can u help do you have some information of filling waiver to have exemption of paying fee on form i 690 or do i need to fill just form i601 and not paying fee ?

I live in Long Beach California. that's one of the more reasons why I'm negative on the future. lol
I love the area generally but whole states going to hell and I'm not a conservative.
What state and city do you guys live in?

The motion to reapply is what you should have used. You got bad information! As you previously stated lawyers don't know anything. They don't!!
