I'm surprised you only talked about the most popular songs. (And sorta Take A Bow)
You should have talked a little bit more than just KoC, Starlight, SBH and MotP. Assassin is a great track, so is Exo-Politics. Still, great review.

Knights of Cydonia rocks. I thought about listening to this album back in 2008 but that never happened. Some day.

To be honest Black Holes is the highlight of this creative band because it stands out so many aspects and joined by a common theme. They immediately grabbed your attention, right with the burst of take a bow. The electronic beginning lets the listener understand that an album like this represents a transition work, based on the rock/electro mergers and totally dedicated to some subgenres of that particular age. Starlight is probably the song we compare to mainstream the most while Supermassive opens up your mind and stimulates your imagination. There's so much more, let's congratulate with this addict for what explained in the video! Keep up the good work!

Resistance is my personal favorite since it was my introduction to Muse. I really enjoy this album as well.

I just picked this up the other day, its such a good album. Muse hasn't really made an album like this since then, its so good the amazing musicianship, the style change ups like the dance y Supermassive Black Hole or the sad Soldiers Poem, and Belmey learning how to write good song, being serious but not overreaching. It's such a good album.

I first heard muse TSP on fuse. It was life changing. But I only knew that this came out because of guitar hero.

I've never really been able latch onto Muse. I like songs of theirs that I've heard but not enough to want to check them out on my own time.

This is where they started to go downhill as a band. I don't think they'll ever come close to the brilliance of Origin Of Symmetry. Black Holes is a good album, but everything after gets increasingly terrible and self-indulgent. They used to be one of my favourite bands, but I find everything post Black Holes to be ranging from cringeworthy to boring.

It's funny because my friends and I (all huge Muse fans) rate Black Holes & Revelations as their worst album. Some great songs but the album as a whole has no coherence - it never becomes more than the sum of its parts unlike, say, The Resistance where the songs build to a greater overall experience.

Why wasnt this a "Regretting the past " album. Muse is godawful and one of the posterboys of  why active > alternative these days (even though this Dead Inside song got waay too much airtime on active)
