Got mine yesterday and it's already my favorite handheld I have ever had. I had the SP back in the day so I might be biased. I'm glad it didn't come with a analog stick. I know, less functionality, but I like the SP look and all the systems I want to play on it don't need one.

Press the on/off screen in games that need an analog stick. Then the dpad will work as the analogue stick. Wave Race will work with the dpad then. ;)

I believe if you click the power button in n64 it will change from yellow dpad to the analogue stick so not a big deal

Press the power button to switch dpad from dpad to analogsticks vice versa

Whole reason why I want this is because it doesn't have the analogue sticks. I have wanted a SP form for years so I can just put in my pocket and go.

I like the fact that they've improved on the SP, namely a real headphone jack, but I honestly wouldn't bother unless they had an XL version. Those of us who played the SP back in the day don't have our youthful eyesight anymore. Actually, I started needing bifocals before the end of the SP run. We also a have money. I mean, unlike teenagers. We also want to relive our childhood or young adulthood, and to do that we need a bigger screen.

Yes, but... The battery holder is a bit cheap and makes creeking noises when you squeeze the device in your hands.

I actually came across a wild Powkiddy V90 in the wild a few days ago for $20 Canadian, so I jumped on that.
The RG35XX from last year was my first and only Anbernic, I was interested in the RG35XX SP but now I'm not so sure... I think I want the cute little RG28XX instead!

Thank you very much for been the only honest person reviewing this. Im not saying he is 'dishonest' but Sonic love for example was hyping this so much in his video but when it came to 'God of War'' he merely showed the title screen. I think this was a bit disappointing as it didnt truly showcase the power or lack of. Not to blow smoke up your warp pipe but i'll stick to your channel in future.

Due to the lack of dual analog sticks, the games that can be played on this device is limited. I do like the clam style.
