CEM Dialogue: Agroecology and NbS for sustainable land management: examples from Europe and Brazil

The event will show how agroecological principles are effective in solving challenges not only related to environmental sustainability and resilience, but also in promoting viable and fair socioeconomic dynamics for the communities involved. The webinar will include cases located in very different ecosystems with different environmental and socioeconomic requirements and needs, to illustrate the importance of adopting comprehensive approaches in land management. The speakers will illustrate examples from biosphere reserves in Europe and in Brazil. The webinar will end with a panel discussion with the speakers, with questions from the audience; an opportunity to explore aspects and solutions to potential challenges in the holistic agroecological management of biosphere reserves.
