I used to work at a Starbucks inside a grocery store. All the seasonal drinks are more than the unflavored drinks and the regular flavored drinks are in between the two. Joe's absolutely right.

Greggs has by far the worst coffee in the UK, so I'm not surprised the flavour in their take of pumpkin spice is subdued.

Starbucks changed their recipe a few years ago, and not for the better. There were complaints about the fact that there was no pumpkin in the Pumpkin Spice Latte (hello, it's Pumpkin SPICE Latte, not Pumpkin PUREE Latte!), so they added pumpkin puree (with a bunch of chemicals, I'm sure), to appease the complainers. As fall approached, I used to look forward to it's arrival, and I really enjoyed the latte. But for me, it's undrinkable now; it just tastes of chemicals and is awful.

I've had the spiced apple water, it's not bad, unexpected but not bad. The smell was the powdered instant apple cider packets where you just add water and the taste reminded me of the apple cinnamon gel? stuff in the hungry man brand tv dinners dessert.

WHY are you expecting pumpkin spice to taste of, or contain, any pumpkin? WTF? Pumpkin spice does not contain any pumpkin, same as dog food doesn't contain dog. Pumpkin spice is FOR pumpkin, much as dog food as FOR dogs.
