Porsche PCM 4.1 Full Screen Apple Car Play

Here is how to upgrade your Porsche PCM 4.1 to have full screen Apple Car Play. See the links below for instructions and to download the software. This will let you install the Green Menu and then install the patch to enable full screen Car Play. This will also enable full Screen Android Auto as well.

Thanks. Was very helpful, as my first try was not successful. I had no Green menu, as I did not include the Patch folder first. AA/Screen Mirroring now working, I hope it will run without any problems in the future.

Awesome work. Is there a way to get it to go completely full screen and eliminate the Porsche navigation bar on the left side of the screen? Also is there any slow down while using Apple Car play? I noticed it was a little laggy in your video. Thank you!

Yeah nice i have it to, its a real game changer. Put a wireless bluetooth dongle to it and have wireless carplay. I use the Ottocast U2 for that.

Thank you for the video. I have been searching for a way to do this on my 19 panamera 4s (971). From what I can tell, the POG24 version is for Europe/ROW, where as the US has POG11. However, you already had POG24 installed and thus used that file. Was there anything special that you needed to do in that regard? Also, does the AIO patch run everything that you need for the full screen carplay? There isn't anything specific needed to install carplay, just using the AIO function- sound correct? Again, super thankful for documenting this and the walk through. Could I ask what vehicle you did this on?

OK, so I'm having a problem. I completed the installation, but now I have no audio. I can't hear calls, music, or anything. I tried everything from a factory reset to turning off the PCM and my phone, and I still don't hear anything.

hi, do you have the Bose package? I have the exact software and even car but I have the Bose package and some places say this messes up with it (or at least updating the software). Is it true?
