Hi, I have a curious behaviour. I have two stepper motor that I have tried the program with and one turns as expected and not the other. Does it means I have one burned stepper motor?

Hi there, one question: I just want to make one of these motors turn, without any stepping involved, but with variable speed controll through a potentiometer. So what do I really need besides the motor and a power supply? Cause I have bought the Nema17 motor and a 12V 5A power supply. Guess I also need one of these drivers, but do I really need an arduino or something like that as well for this simple task or is there a way around it? Cause I don't know anything about all this other complicated stuff, thought I can simply connect the power supply to the motor with a poti in between and good is, but it's not😬

Change the code to delaymicroseconds(1000) instead of 500 if your motor feels gutless but still spins.
