I built the Lego TOWN HALL Modular for WAY Cheaper! // Webrick review

Those retired Lego modular buildings are great but they are crazy expensive on the aftermarket. The Lego Town Hall 10224 sells for around $1,000 on Bricklink, which is insane!, and definitely not in my price range. However, I found a way to build the Town Hall modular for much cheaper if you're willing to think outside the box! In this video, I built the Town Hall using bricks from Webrick. Webrick is a brick seller that makes it easy for you to source pieces for MOCs. They're a Gobricks distributor (who makes high-quality bricks) and you can buy pieces individually or by the kilogram! They also have an easy part list uploader where you can upload an XML list from Bricklink/Rebrickable/etc and it'll gather all the pieces for you. Watch the video to hear my thoughts on their website and the bricks. Be sure to let me know what you think!

Webrick sent me these pieces for free in order to do a review and share it with you. I was not paid and all of the opinions expressed in this video are my own. Hopefully, you found the video informative and helpful!

Absolut cool modular. And awesome, that you've got the chance to try out webrick. I also tried them and build a Rocinante moc from the "The Expanse" series. The quality is great and the service is really good. So hopefully you will get another chance to build the cinema

FYI: Webrick no longer sells Gobricks and only has "default" bricks which are not the same quality as Gobricks/Lego.

My son loved legos. Very interesting update. I am an artist and I share my painting demos and studio visits here. So much to see and hear on Youtube. Cheers on a Monday!

Still not super cheap (more expensive than the original price of the set) but still cool and a good alternative if someone still wants that set nowadays

Looks great! But if I bought it, I'd probably use the dark orange bricks on mocs instead.

They based in Canada? Do they deliver from Canada as well? Or directly from the factory?

I have a few knock-off things in my Lego City, and one modular I still want is the brick bank, so if there is a cheaper option to get to build it that is less then $500 I would definitely do it even with my moc bank being a mess right now and I am personally not loving the design of it anymore since the 2016 modular is the only modular I missed from 2013 to 2023. Plans are to get the new one ordered in 2 weeks, and I can't wait.

What was the price difference? webrick vs bricklink?

I would maybe source bricks to build sets, but only lego

Why not order the cheap pieces from Bricklink and just those expensive bricks from Webrick?

Hey Stonewall, not sure if it's just me, but the link doesn't seem to work? I'd love to support the channel and pick up some bricks!

The quality is noticeably bad with webrick / gobrick
