It can do some skids! Kudos to Turbo Racing for trying.
I'm not sure if they know that my channel is almost exclusively doing micro drift cars and what they are getting themselves into. But many kudos for being brave enough to send this car to me.

I appreciate the honesty. I have the 1st gen drifter and could never get it to drift like a 1/27. I hope a hobby grade 1/43 drifter comes out since the crawlers in that scale work well.

I just got one of these recently and found it doesnt turn left at all. The wheels turn but the car just goes off in a straight line, as opposed to when it turns right and it does donuts.
Any idea why?

I bought the c75 from radiomaster and was planning to get this as well, but it’s not on their website anymore. I looked if they still had the c75 but it was also gone for no reason. Have they stopped selling turbo racing cars for no reason? I’m pretty lucky I guess I got my C75 about a week before they disappeared but still kinda weird.

Is there a proper RTR 1:76 scale or 1:43 drift car you could recommend?

been playing with the c65 and some settings to get used to the car i can tell you are( for me i have the limited edition version so some settings might be different %’s so adjust accordingly by rounding to highest or lowest whichever is comfortable) SVC- 55%, D/R ST- 80% if your really struggling but 100% is what i use and i’m not a rc drifter at all been at this for only 2 weeks 😂 but last 2 settings will be D/R TH-65%, and last setting you will want to unscrew the front screw(closest to hood) and pop the top body cover off and make it to where you see the circuitry and locate the 2 front screws next to each wheel ( towards the hood of car) and take the screw tool given to you in shipment or any other tool that works for you and unscrew each screw to where you can see exactly a millimeter of the screw popping out on top (i recommend using a ruler) and slide the back of the body back into the rear lights don’t forcefully push it in or you’ll break it and then line it up and slightly click it in and you’ll hear it click and screw it back together and there you’ll have your newly sort of modded rc car with applicable settings ( sorry it’s long i tried to make it as detailed as possible down to every step so there’s no confusion because that’s what it was for me with every video and reddit post so i figured it on my own and thought i’d share)

I just ordered the limited edition version of this C65 car. Its orange car. Have you seen it? It comes with a different new orange transmitter and a 7 channel receiver. The transmitter comes with a big flashlight built in it, that's a very strange thing to add to a transmitter. Id like to know your analysis on that new transmitter.

It all comes down to the surface. It goes well enough on the "Turbo Racing" drift mat. Initially, I struggled with this. Then I bought the drift mat and now it's more fun to play with. Even so, the car does not hold a drift for long. It's more akin to wheelspin and swinging out the tailend.

I wonder why there are a few videos where it does very controlled drifts. Do you think they are completely faked ?

There are videos for turning hot wheels into drift cars. They are the same scale and relative size as this car. They work well. I wonder if it's the dicast body weight that helps those cars.

It got me thinking, could this car be improved with weight and a better gyro?

hard to explain but the turbo racing drift mat makes them glide like butter. without it you really have to play with the gyro and move slow.

I actually think that even on surfaces that do not allow you to hold the drift, they are still super fun and the quality of finish is pretty good. It is fun to try to run them fast, because you end up with lots of powerslides. It is like a hillclimb with an overpowered car. 😂

I feel like you didn't have too much grip on all materials, but too little grip. Front wheels had no traction to pull it, so it just went forward. The carpet would have a little more grip, hence you being able to control it more. Or am I wrong?

I saw other people having a hard time with it and they turned the gyro down and it was better. I don't have one so I never got to try it

I knew it. it would not drift properly. and could not hold a slide. I doubtful at first that this small rc car can't hold a slide becoz of what i saw from previous turbo racing drift rc.
