Austin Police Chief Brian Manley responded to two incidents in which demonstrators sustained injuries by APD officers in a media briefing on June 1, 2020. Manley also extended a message families of the two young men who suffered the worst injuries.

Tearing up is a good start... I believe he's a person now. But no real apology, no recognition of the brutality so endemic in his force that his officers just couldn't help shooting unarmed peaceful protestors in the head on camera?
And no real acceptance of responsibility. And instead... vaguely questioning the motives of the protests at the end? W.T.F
