Parkour is in my opinion *the* single most underrated skill in the game

I agree of the power of parqour as a archery build i jumped on top of a house and escaped so many battles and won them from the high ground thanks to the perk

The Agility tree I think is the flat best tree in the game whether solo or with friends ontop of just being fun as hell and flexible. Instant stealth kills, access to explosives with arrows, automatic weapon, one of highest damage guns in game (desert vulture), machete utility, arguably most OP skill in game (Parkour) and medium armor proficiency so you get the best of both worlds between light and heavy. One could argue that there’s no resource management but honestly with just staying ontop of gathering simple stuff and with trader rewards, I’ve never had an issue. Also early game hordes are pretty trivial too because the knife is insane.

RE: Parkour

Absolutely true. Even when I'm doing a tanky build, I will definitely bump my agility up to 7 later in the game to get Parkour 3. I'll do this before raising my main attribute higher than around 7. Why? Because being able to jump clean ass over a zombie's head will get you out of being cornered. Tier 5 and 6 loot rooms on Insane difficulty will just kill you without it.

Parkour: The ability to jump on top of bookcases and walls in a single leap, making you completely unreachable by zombies.
Overpowered beyond belief.

Who the hell would roast you for saying parkour is op?? I've got 2k hours in this game and being able to jump 2 blocks when zeds only do one is a life saver.

Agility is a tree that lets you quest and do solo POI farming with incredible ease. It's all very combat focussed, which unfortunately means your ability to farm or gather resources takes a hit.

Yes, the assassin armor is busted when it comes to solo clearing a lot of large POIs in the late game, but that's it. You don't get any farming bonuses, you don't save resources in any way when crafting, everything stays incredibly slow when being constructed, you can't gather quickly or efficiently, and you can't even barter properly to get good value there without divesting. Majorly, stealth doesn't exist on horde nights unless you attack in the middle of knocking down zombies (super inconsistent). If you like combat and want that edge without being overwhelmed, this is the way to go. It's particularly consistent when it comes to farming legendary parts, as they are guaranteed rewards at tier 6 quest turn-ins.

Agility is best paired with either perception or intellect:

Perception for access to lucky looter and salvage operations for a great breadth of resources gathered (you'll eek out enough forged steel for anything you need early-mid game from broken vending machines).

Intellect if you want to leverage bartering and getting absolutely silly value for money and become scrooge McDuck incarnate. Particularly potent with the enforcer armor set or the rogue set. Lock picking is incredible here for fast and consistent looting.

The only perks worth taking in fortitude is either stun resist (especially at higher difficulties), or blade harvesting yield. Aside from that, iron gut is not going to offer much until much later on when you leverage the candies, sprinting is not what you want to be doing with stealth play, and farming is needless when you can buy ingredients for 7 dukes a piece with bartering maxed (though, there's an argument to be made that plants will grow as you quest).

Strength - Pack mule. That's it if you're unlucky with pocket mods or schematics for pocket mods.

This is my favorite skill tree! I enjoy stealth killing zombies! The only flaw is that, untill you unlock the smg, you can really struggle with hoard night! You almost have to add machine gun to your skills, just to survive!

Parkour is broken as shit, honestly i imagine the only reason its so underrated is because stealth is so generally ass in this game. Another very underrated perk is salvage operations. Pretty much i feel every skill tree has at least 1 really really good perk.

@0:58 Spears are bladed weapons. Do they not benefit from these two skills? You only mentioned knives. I ask because i always run spear early game and i dont want to waste points
