REVIEW: GIVI Quick Release Pannier system

I’ve got the frame on my KTM 790 adventure and use them with Lomo throw overs.
Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, as you say mounted and dismounted in a minute.

Which way did you put the mounting points, according to the fitting diagram the part where you slide the mounting bolts is facing up? I may actually spin them as it seems as tho water could collect if they were fitted that way and sit and possibly corrode the mounting bolts?

I have these on my GS Adventure and previously on my GS, it's a great system.

I trying to buy same racks for same bike as yours, PLXR5119 but is not available anymore even on official GIVI site, do you have any idea what is a reason for that is any problem with racks?

So the panniers can be removed from the racks, this system allows the actual racks to be removed, correct?

What keeps someone from quick-releasing your panniers if parked?

Looks like a decent system but not unique..SW Motech have been making a similar system for years and it’s superb.

I bought a set for my 2020 versys 1000. They will be returned and not used as they dont fit. Give used to be fantastic. Not anymore
