Hello, just took the writing AND road test same day as of 12/31/24

Here’s what you should know:

The written portion is light, avoid any answers that say “immediately” you need 28 points to pass, yes memorizing the road signs should account for 1/3 of your points.

Material-wise, just refer to the website. You should be fine if you have all proper documents such as pass port, SSN card, etc. Also, bring your driving Ed completion certificate given to you by the State. Make sure your proof of residency is from mails within the past 6 months, either from government or school.

As for the road test, you’ll pull up to the station, head to the right side and the workers there will ensure all signal mechanics are working.

Luckily, my driver instructor named Nick was a very chill guy, he was calm throughout the process and had clear instructions.

Yes, this video displays precisely the road they’ll have you go on. + I didn’t reverse nor parallel park, they only made me go forward parking and that was all.

At the end they asked me a question, “if you’re parked uphill, and the curb is to the right, what two additional steps should you do to ensure safety?”

The answer is “turn your steering wheel to the left, and make sure the back of your tire hits the curb, also pull back the handbrake.

how are the instructors? I heard they're rude and difficult but idk. Taking the test 2025 summer i think and dont know which location i should do

I am over the age of 21, I am scheduled to take the advance in- car driving test. This just means on road test, correct? I also have an expired drivers permit, only a week past the date. Do I need to take a written test again for another permit or am I good to test for the DL? Thank you
